0800 Homefix does not charge a call out fee to unblock a drain. You pay for the engineer’s labour from arrival, starting with the first hour, and if the drain is cleared within that hour with no further work needed, there is nothing more to pay. We clear drains with high-pressure water jetting, which blasts the blockage apart and clears the full width of the pipe, and with drain rods where more appropriate. Where a drain keeps blocking, a CCTV survey shows the cause underground so it can be fixed properly. We do not use chemical drain cleaners, which damage pipework over time.

For a minor blockage you can try a plunger, a drain rod, or flushing with hot water and baking soda and vinegar. Avoid chemical drain cleaners, which rarely clear a full blockage and damage pipework.
