Matthew Fowler

Matthew Fowler is the Managing Director of 0800 Homefix Ltd and a qualified gas and plumbing engineer with more than ten years of hands-on experience. Based in Yateley, he leads a team of Gas Safe registered engineers covering boiler repair and servicing, plumbing, leak detection and drainage across London and the South East.

Matthew trained at West London Training and holds ACS gas qualifications, NVQ Levels 2 and 3 in Plumbing, Unvented G3 certification and Water Regulations certification. He writes the heating, plumbing and drainage guides on this blog, drawing on the faults and repairs 0800 Homefix engineers deal with every week, so that homeowners know what a problem means, what is safe to check themselves and when it needs a qualified engineer.
